What is Tizen OS?

Samsung has launched tizen OS smartphone in Russia first time. Till now Samsung has been using Google Android OS for running its maximum range for smart phones and tablets all around the world. But in contrast to this Korean manufacturer uses alternative instead of using android operating system for most of its smart phones.
So the question is that how tizen is different from android? Here the 6 basic things that tells the importance of tizen.

1. Its open source

Samsung worked with Intel to develop tizen. It is Linux-based platform built from Nokia and Intel’s ditched MeeGo.In fact it is real source like android and users will be free in able to get their desire function or app s they like. Samsung also introduced some interesting features in tizen to enhance the capability of tizen.

2. HTML 5

The good news for users of Tizen OS is that it is HTML 5 based operating system. It is also providing comfort to the content makers in the way of reducing cost and quick making process. And for users it is also helpful and very useful in a way that it is an awesome app for mobile and tablets. It has a great native support for videos that no plug-ins are required to open the videos from YouTube and other different websites.

Other than that, Tizen feels like “Touch Wiz: the Operating System”—most of the apps track pretty closely to what Samsung ships on top of Android. Tizen OS has few options, command and control while most of its commands are hidden in the start menu.

first official Tizen device, the 20.3-megapixel Samsung NX300M camera was announced in late 2013.

As we seen in windows 8 /windows phone 8 that apps and games are very large to install and are not for free but in tizen all the apps are small and very easy to download because of the support of tizen itself. All the apps which are useful and users wants are easily available in this soft wear. Samsung has started its journey just with the invention of Tizen OS. It supports for 64-bit of processor and now the google android OS is also planning to support 64-bit of processor also to make a tough competition with other smartphones also.
